The Long-Eared Jerboa
These are definitely making an appearance on some pots soon.
The Long-Eared Jerboas are nocturnal dessert rodents that jump like kangaroos. They are around 3.5 inches tall. Various sub-groups of the Long-Eared species can be found in Egypt, Libya, China and Mongolia. There are 31 species of the Jerboa family in all and many of the sub-groups have been on the endangered species list. The pygmy jerboa has experienced the exotic pet craze in Japan and America.
